Privacy notice

How we use the information you share with us. Last updated 2 November 2026.

Who we are

Legacie Talent Group is a trading name of Legacie Group Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 12099013), registered office 80 & 82 Great George Street, Liverpool L1 5FF. We’re the controller of the personal information you give us through this website. You can reach us at 2nd Floor, The Temple, 24 Dale Street, Liverpool, L2 5RL, or by email at joanna@legacietalent.co.uk.

What we collect

  • Enquiries (booking an actor, casting services, room hire or anything else): your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your phone number and the details of your project.
  • Applications for representation: your name, email address and message, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your phone number, where you’re based, links to your Spotlight page, headshot or showreel, your playing age, training, and whether you have an agent.
  • Emails, calls and messages: whatever you tell us when you contact us directly, including by message on Instagram.

We don’t ask for information about health, disability, ethnicity, religion or sexuality on this website. Please don’t include it in a message.

How we use it, and why we’re allowed to

  • To reply to an enquiry you make for yourself, and to arrange what you ask for: taking steps at your request before a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To reply to an enquiry you make for a production, company or other organisation, and to keep in touch with you as a business contact: our legitimate interest in running our agency, casting and room-hire services and staying in contact with the people we work with (Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To consider your application for representation: taking steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the records the law requires an employment agency to keep (Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, regulation 29): a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep this website secure: our legitimate interest in protecting our systems (Article 6(1)(f)).

Do you have to give us your information?

No. No law or contract requires you to. We need your email address to reply; everything else you send is up to you.

Who we share it with

Only the people at Legacie Talent Group who need it. If you ask about one of our actors, we may tell that actor about your enquiry. Service providers act on our instructions under written contracts: our website host, Vercel, and our email provider. If you message us on Instagram, Meta, which runs it, handles your message under its own privacy policy. We may also share information with our professional advisers, and with the Fair Work Agency or another authority where the law requires it.

Transfers outside the UK

Our website host is based in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Where it is, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires: the UK–US data bridge for providers certified under it, or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Email us for a copy of these safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to work: deleted 12 months after we last hear from you.
  • Enquiries from productions or companies we work with: kept while we work together and for two years after our last booking. The law requires us to keep agency records for at least a year after our last service.
  • Applications for representation that we take no action on: deleted six months after we receive them.
  • Applications we act on but don’t take forward (for example, after a meeting): a short record of who you are, what you sent and what we did, kept for one year as the employment agency regulations require, then deleted.
  • If we represent you: for as long as we represent you and six years after it ends, which is how long contract claims can be brought. Our written terms explain this.

Your rights

You can ask us, free of charge, for a copy of your information, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you or someone else in a portable form. Email joanna@legacietalent.co.uk. We’ll respond within one month; for complex requests we can take up to two more months, and we’ll tell you if we need to.

Your right to object

Where we rely on our legitimate interests, you can object at any time. Tell us, and we’ll stop unless we have compelling grounds that override your interests, or we need the information for a legal claim.

Automated decisions

We don’t make decisions about you by automated means.

Complaints

You have the right to complain to us if you think we’ve misused your information. Email joanna@legacietalent.co.uk or write to us at the address above. We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, keep you updated, and tell you the outcome without undue delay.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commission (the ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or similar technologies to follow you. Our host keeps server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period to run the site securely. If our host ever has to run a security check, it may set a short-lived cookie that is needed only for that check.
